Place in the Cover
First, place the empty hot water bottle into the cover such that the hot water bottle lodges appropriately in to the cover, and the cover should be as large as that of enclosing the hot water bottle.

Inspect the Hot Water Bottle
Before inflation with water, inspect the hot water bottle for any crack or hole to avoid case where the hot water bottle has deteriorated to the extend of developing a leakage problem, and to ensure it has not outlived its useful life as it can cause a safety issue when in use.

Fill with Water
Before doing that, check if the hot water bottle is safe and not leaking, then proceed to fill it with water expect approximately 70%-80%. This avoids the hot water bottle from swelling up due to infused hot water and also, there is sufficient room inside the cover of the hot water bottle for ease of use.

Tighten the Stopper
When you are through with the process of filling the hot water bottle with water, ensure that you close the stopper tightly to avoid hot water spilling all over with the end result being injury to the skin.

Use
Last, pour water into the hot water bottle with the help of the provided stopper and fit the cover properly on it then put the hot water bottle on the part of the body which you want to get warm to improve your current stature of comfort.
