1. Pre-use Preparation

  1. 1.1 Disinfection
  • Natural latex bag: Clean with warm water & neutral soap, wipe with alcohol; DO NOT boil.
  • IR, NBR, silicone: Boil for 5–10 mins for full sterilization, air dry naturally.

Disassemble tube, valve and nozzle for full cleaning.

  1.

    1.2 Liquid temperature

Keep liquid at 37℃–39℃ (body temperature). Never use boiling or ice cold liquid to avoid intestinal cramp and mucosa burn. Usable liquid: purified warm water, saline, herbal enema liquid, coffee enema solution.

  2. 1.3 Lubrication
  • Latex: Only water-based lube, oil-based grease will damage latex seriously.
  • IR, NBR, silicone: Both water-based and oil-based lubricants are safe.

  1. 1.4 Body position

Lie on your left side, bend right knee forward, put a thin cushion under hips to relax anal muscles; knee-chest position is alternative.

2. Operation Steps

  1. 2.1 Pour prepared liquid into bag, tighten lid. Squeeze bag gently to expel air inside tube until liquid flows out, then close flow valve.
  2. 2.2 Coat lubricant on front 2–3cm of nozzle, insert slowly and gently 5–8cm into anus, no forced pushing.
  3. 2.3 Hang the enema bag 40–60cm above hips, open valve for slow infusion. Too high position causes fast flow, bloating and pain.
  4. 2.4 Pause infusion immediately if you feel strong bloating or urge to defecate, take deep breath and restart after relief. Normal household volume: 2000ml.
  5. 2.5 After infusion, close valve and pull nozzle out slowly. Hold liquid inside for 5–15 mins before going to toilet.

3. Post-use Cleaning & Storage

  1. 3.1 Empty residual liquid, take apart all parts and rinse thoroughly with warm water, use mild cleaner for herbal/coffee residue.
  2. 3.2 Disinfect by material:

Latex: Warm water + alcohol wipe only; IR/NBR/Silicone support boiling disinfection.

  3. 3.3 Store only when fully air-dried, fold loosely in cool dark dry cabinet, away from heat source and oil products.
  4.

4. Safety Warnings

  1. 4.1 Do not self-enema if you have anal wounds, hemorrhoid bleeding, acute abdominal pain, unsteady pregnancy or unhealed intestinal surgery.
  2. 4.2 Avoid over-frequent enema, it will damage intestinal flora and protective mucosa.
  3. 4.3 Discard bag once it turns sticky, cracked, leaky or discolored from aging.
  4. 4.4 For personal single use only, cross-use leads to infection risk.
  5. 4.5 Stop using and consult doctor right away if severe stomach pain, dizziness or bleeding occurs during use.
