Medical Ice Packs

Medical ice packs are commonly used for medical cooling and cold compresses. Their temperature range varies depending on the type of ice pack and storage environment. For example:

Chemiluminescent, cloth bag-type medical ice packs: Can be stored for approximately 6 months at -20°C.

Bagged medical ice packs: Shelf life is approximately 1 year when refrigerated or in cold water.

Frozen medical ice packs: Shelf life can reach approximately 3 years when stored at -20°C, or placed in a freezer or cold water. When used, the internal temperature of the ice pack is usually low to achieve a cooling or compressing effect.

Refrigerated Transport Ice Packs

Refrigerated transport ice packs are mainly used for the refrigerated transport of biological cryopreservation reagents, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other items. These ice packs typically need to be maintained between 0°C and 7°C to ensure the freshness and effectiveness of the transported items. The ice packs are generally kept frozen for 2-5 hours, depending on the size of the ice pack and the ambient temperature.

Everyday Use of Ice Packs

In daily life, ice packs are commonly used for food preservation and chilling beverages. In these cases, the temperature range of the ice pack is quite flexible and can be adjusted according to individual needs.
