I. Common Types of Ice Packs & Their Advantages and Disadvantages

One-time quick-cooling ice pack (freezes instantly upon being crushed)
Ingredients: Inner bag water + Outer bag ammonium nitrate/urea, mixed refrigeration by squeezing
- Advantages - No need for advance freezing, cold available on demand
- Portable, single-use, suitable for outdoor use/first aid
- Disadvantages - Can only be used once, high cost
- Refrigeration time is short (about 20-30 minutes)
- The contents contain chemical agents, and they should not come into contact with the skin if damaged.
Reuse the gel ice pack
- Components: High-molecular water-absorbing resin + Pure water + Antifreeze
- Advantages - Can be repeatedly frozen and used, high cost-effectiveness
- Soft and comfortable, not stiff
- Mild temperature, less likely to cause frostbite
- Disadvantages - Needs to be frozen in the refrigerator in advance
- Will leak glue and harden over time
- Cannot be microwaved (most cases)

Ice packs / Water-filled ice packs
- Components: Nylon/cotton cover + water-fillable inner bag
- Advantages - The temperature is the most gentle, suitable for the elderly and children
- It can be controlled by oneself regarding the water volume and hardness
- The fabric does not directly contact the skin
- Disadvantages - It is prone to leakage and water seepage
- The insulation time is short
- It is large in size and inconvenient to carry
Biological ice packs / Cold chain ice packs (for express delivery)
- Composition: High-performance cold gel, thicker and heavier
- Advantages - Cold retention time is extremely long (several hours to 1 day)
- Safe and non-toxic, suitable for contact with food
- Disadvantages - Hard and heavy, not suitable for close-body cold application
- Price is higher than that of ordinary gel ice packs

Silicone ice pack (can be used for both cooling and heating)
- Composition: Food-grade silicone
- Advantages - Can be frozen or heated by microwave (dual use)
- Soft and durable, unlikely to break
- Safe and odorless
- Disadvantages - Expensive
- Cold retention time is not as good as that of professional cold storage ice packs
Crystal mud/particle ice packs
- Component: Absorbent resin particles
- Advantages : Lightweight, good adhesion
- Disadvantages :Easy to break, with particles leaking out and difficult to clean up
- Cold preservation performance is average

II. Quick Purchase Summary
