1. Freezing: Place the ice pack in the freezer for at least 2 hours, until completely frozen.
2. Wrapping: After removing from the freezer, wrap the ice pack with a towel or cloth.
3. Applying the Cooling Compress: Place the ice pack on the area requiring cooling, for no more than 20 minutes at a time.
4. Controlling the Interval: Apply the cooling compress multiple times a day, but allow at least one hour between each application.
5. Regular Replacement: Replace the ice pack promptly if it melts to maintain its cooling effect.
