Method 1: When the electric hot water bottle is charging and heating, the gas inside will cause it to inflate. Simply shake the bottle; the gas will quickly escape, and the bottle will return to its flat state.
Method 2: Use your fingernail to gently pry open the vent (usually a plastic nozzle near the power outlet). Once opened, the gas will escape quickly.
